06/14 || King of the Caboose || Spellbreaking for Fun and Profit?

This has been such a freaking week. I just felt like I needed something different to...not get my brain back in gear, but at least shift it out of the dumb gear it had been in. Not sure if it worked, but I do know that I profoundly enjoyed this game. Everytime I play it it makes me go, why am I not playing this on the reg, and then I remember, because it's a BR I want to play this with a team.

Like If I could roll with a squad of my friends I feel like we could do some amazing stuff. We could start to get a better feel for the maps, it seems like the loot boxes have fixed spawns, and we could sort of lay claim to specific play styles and get used to interacting with each others elements.

instead when I play in solo and in PUG Squads i'm just sort of leaning into the chaos, and trying to get better at reading it, you know, learning when I should be doing crazy air stuff or if I should try and stay firmly planted and lands heavy shots with a stone or ice gauntlet.....I just realized how well those two work together....how have I not noticed this before?!

05/17 || Indie Stop || Mechanicus Ending and Spellbreak

Some times these streams are just freaking odd. Mostly because We opened it playing Mechanicus, a Warhammer 40k XCOM-ish style game, and ended it playing Spellbreak, a Battle Royale game about killing people with magic gloves.

So I don't super want to spoil what happens in the Mechanicus part of the stream, but suffice to say we did finish the game, though apparently faster than expected since we still had like 20 some tomb awakening to go.

Once we finished that we transitioned over to Spellbreak, because frankly I find it stupidly fun and I guess technically I'm part of their creator's program, though not being part of the Epic Creator's program sort of makes that.....odd? Upside, Pretty sure I gotta make like 3 jokes about America's Ass so yay!

But hey if you want to play Mechanicus you can find it over on Humble, it's even on sale for the next day and some, and if you use our affiliate link you'll even help us out too.

03/13 || Indie Stop || Hollow Knight and Spellbreak

I didn't really want to split this stream into two separate streams because the first section, while not by any means short, was basically just me slamming my head into a single..... wait two Hollow Knight bosses?

If you want to skip to Spellbreak it starts here

https://youtu.be/3pn5wZJTfDM?t=7513

Basically I sort of decided that while I intend to finish the Godmaster Pantheons at some point, doing it on stream is just more of a pain in the ass than its worth to me. So instead I decided we would got get the two endings we have access to now. We took out the titular Hollow Knight once now that we have the void heart to get the siblings ending.

And then I spent the remaining.....like hour and a half? beating up the hollow knight until we could start the fight with the Radiance, where in I would immediately get my face kicked in for the first like...30 minutes?

But eventually we took out the Radiance, got the almost kind of true ending before Godmaster came out, and then we moved on to Spellbreak!

This goofy little game is a new Battle Royale by Proletariat to be published on the Epic Store. It's currently in a closed Alpha, but that alpha has no NDA so I was playing it and damn was it fun! The gyst is that instead of guns you have magic gauntlets that fire an element. Elements fire in different ways and have a grenade like ability attached. Oh and all the kind of magic can interact, like wind can hit some poison on the ground and make it puff into a cloud, an earth tremor can run under a firewall and start gouting fire.

If you liked Hollow knight you can get it on Humble and help support us.
